Oil coolers
The function
An engine oil cooler regulates engine oil temperature by removing excess heat, ensuring proper lubrication, reducing wear, and improving engine durability under heavy loads. An automatic transmission oil cooler controls fluid temperature in automatic gearboxes, preventing overheating, maintaining smooth gear shifts, and extending transmission life. A manual transmission oil cooler, used in heavy-duty applications, stabilizes gearbox oil temperature under extreme torque, improving lubrication and component lifespan.
A retarder oil cooler dissipates heat generated during hydraulic braking, ensuring consistent retarder performance on long descents and protecting the system from overheating. Together, these coolers enhance reliability, efficiency, and safety in trucks.
